This time of year always makes me think of beginnings and starts. It may have something to do with school but I think Professor T. is truly responsible. Fall is just THE time to embark on an adventure!jimmd68https://www.blogger.com/profile/18123896941641810076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7415869862465771785.post-46843403410338022832014-09-26T07:21:50.416-07:002014-09-26T07:21:50.416-07:00Oddly enough, despite being totally in love with f...Oddly enough, despite being totally in love with fantasy during my teenage years, it wasn't until I was 24 and after the movie came out that I first read the Fellowship of the Rings. (I had to finish the story before the other 2 movies came out) I think I read The Hobbit in Junior High School. I remember talking about it at least, we had a class discussing the Runes Tolkien uses. We may have read excerpts or just watched the cartoon. It didn't make much of an impact on me. Again, Odd considering how much I loved fantasy and D&D. I would love to reread the trilogy again but I have so many books lined up.The Shadowplayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15290750258778801256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7415869862465771785.post-34889153156517927392014-09-25T08:17:23.367-07:002014-09-25T08:17:23.367-07:00Wow. Though I only re-read it once every couple of years.
The last time I read it I started on Sept. 22. This year I just forgot.
But I will raise a mug to you all the same!Timothy S.
